The American Legion
The American Legion is a social and mutual-aid veterans' organization including members of the United States armed forces. The organization was founded in 1919 by veterans returning from Europe after World War I, and was later chartered as an official American patriotic society under Title 36 of the United States Code. The organization is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, and also has offices in Washington, DC. The group has nearly 3 million members in over 14,000 Posts worldwide.

In addition to organizing commemorative events and volunteer veteran support activities, the American Legion is active in issue oriented U.S. politics. Its primary political activity is lobbying on behalf of the interests of veterans and service members, including support for veterans benefits such as pensions and the Veterans Affairs hospital system. The Legion has also been involved as a conservative voice in more general political and cultural issues.

Eckroth Music
Over thirty-five years ago, Bill and Mary Ann Eckroth opened the doors of Eckroth Music in Bismarck, North Dakota. It was during the summer of 1972 they began their dream of owning a music store that focused on serving the musical instrument and related accessory needs for musicians and music educators.

Although many changes have taken place over the years, the Eckroth family and the Eckroth Music staff continue to enthusiastically provide their customers with service and quality products unequaled to any in the region.

The North Dakota Army National Guard
The official mission of the 188th Army Band is to provide music throughout the full spectrum of military operations and to instill in our Soldiers the will to fight and win, to foster the support of our citizens, to promote our national interests at home and abroad, and to entertain our audiences. In successful completion and ongoing fulfillment of that mission, the band has continued to provide music to the citizens and Soldiers of North Dakota for over 120 years.
