The Jordan Christianson Jazz Trio
Pianist Jordan Christianson, bassist Mike Harmon, and drummer Lance Tessmann have been performing together in various jazz groups since 2006. Most recently, they performed in a big band with Los Angeles musicians Gary Grant and Bernie Dresel which featured the music of Alf Clausen. In the spring of 2008, they formed the Jordan Christianson Trio, and since then have played dozens of gigs around the FM area. Jordan will be a junior majoring in jazz and studio music at MSUM this fall. Mike will be a senior bass performance major at NDSU, and Lance will be a junior music education major at NDSU. This is the trio's first time performing in the Jass Festival.
